Executive Leadership Team
Marco A. Torres, MHA - Founder & CEO

Mr. Torres has over 30 years of experience in healthcare. He has held various leadership positions in managing non-profit organizations, Federal Qualified Health Centers, Health Plans, and Ambulatory Care Operations. He has also held leadership positions in strategic business development, sales and marketing for some of the country's largest pharmaceutical companies.

An authentic and innovative leader with progressive experience focused on equitable healthcare access, quality improvement, operational excellence, and business development and growth. A distinctive balance of strategic and operational acumen with an aptitude to identify creative solutions to root causes. Instrumental in motivating and unlocking potential in individuals and teams through strong partnerships and service style leadership. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivation skills resulting in effectively building and sustaining relationships and businesses. Passionate about aligning personal talents and business objectives in an environment of growth and excellence to make a difference in our client's experience, supporting provider development and engaging a team of compassionate individuals.

Octavio F. Delgado, Ph.D. - Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Delgado is a California Licensed Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in mental health and community psychology. In addition, Dr. Delgado has a Master of Divinity degree and significant experience helping within a faith-based context. Dr. Delgado has worked with several community based non-profit mental health organizations, in addition to developing a private practice in the Southern California area. He is the Founder and President of Eastside Psychological Services, Inc., where he provided psychotherapy services to an ethnically diverse population. His areas of expertise include helping victims of sexual and physical abuse, working with victims of domestic violence and their families, conducting psychological evaluations and working with dual diagnosis psychiatric individuals who have committed various crimes. While working at Eastside Psychological Services Dr. Delgado was involved in providing training and supervision to psychotherapists working towards licensure. He also has made presentations on issues dealing with violence and abuse, including Management of the Hispanic Violent patient: Suicidal and Homicidal risk reduction, Epidemiology of suicide and homicide among Hispanics, blacks and whites in the U.S., and Clinical applications of learned helplessness theory to Ethnic Minorities.

SALVADOR J. ESPARZA, DHA, FACHE

Dr. Esparza has been in health care for over 30 years and has held several senior leadership positions with a variety of health care organizations. He has consulted for major tertiary organizations throughout the country with particular emphasis on operations, organizational development, and leadership development. He is a tenured professor in the Department of Health Sciences at California State University, Northridge and has held the rols of department Chair as well as director of the Health Administration Program.

Professor Esparza received his Doctor of Health Administration degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He received his Master of Science in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Dr. Esparza was a Registered Nurse and certified Public Health Nurse, and is a board certified Health Care Executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Besides his scholarly publications, he recently published the second edition of a textbook with his colleagues titled New Leadership for Today’s Health Care Professionals; Concepts and Cases.

Professor Esparza is currently chairman of the board at Facey Medical Foundation, and member of the board quality committee at Providence/Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. Prior to that, he was the chairman of the board for Northridge Hospital Medical Center where he served on the board for 6 year. He also served as member of the board for Tierra Del Sol Foundation, an organization dedicated to maximizing the potential of developmentally disabled adults.

In 1999, Dr. Esparza was awarded the Outstanding Alumni Award from the College of Health and Human Development at CSUN and has been awarded the Polished Apple Award from the University Student Ambassadors at CSUN in 2007 and 2009 for making a difference in student’s lives. In 2011, he received the Dean’s award for outstanding academic performance and also for outstanding doctoral project from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Professor Esparza has been inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society for health professions and the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society for health administration

PATRICIA SUAREZ

A passionate, results driven healthcare executive with 20+ years of experience leading business development, integrated marketing, and revenue growth strategies. Proven expertise in trends analysis, planning and implementation, managed care, complex multi-dimensional sales solutions, creative program development, physician recruitment and relations. Key strengths in forging strong partnerships and building visionary teams to improve health care delivery programs that address the needs of diverse communities. Strong understanding of hospital service line growth initiatives, managed care in highly competitive environment, and government-funded insurance programs, including Medi-Aid and Medi-Care.
